Terms of Service

CVsprings provides advisory, AI-assisted candidate-fit scoring: it compares CV content against a job description and produces scores to support recruiters. It is a decision aid, not an automated decision-maker — the product never makes or executes a hiring decision, and is designed so a score cannot be converted into a decision automatically. • You must be able to form a binding contract and use the service for legitimate recruitment purposes.
• You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• A subscription covers one organization. You are responsible for the conduct of all users you add to your organization.

You agree not to:

• upload or process data you have no legal right to process;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security controls;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable employment or anti-discrimination law.

For candidate data processed through CVsprings, you (the client) are the data controller and Chaulin is the data processor, acting on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process candidate data and for informing candidates that an AI-based tool supports your screening. Processing details are in the Privacy Policy, and a Data Processing Agreement is available to clients.

Scores and recommendations are AI-generated. They may be inaccurate or biased, are advisory only, and must not be used as the sole basis for any decision. You remain solely responsible for all hiring decisions and for compliance with all applicable employment, equality, and anti-discrimination laws. A human must review outputs before acting on them.

• Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan you select. The free tier is subject to a monthly analysis limit.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal (Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.
• Fees are non-refundable for partial periods unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing. LEGAL REVIEW
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable advance notice of changes affecting your plan.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it available but do not commit to a specific uptime guarantee or service-level agreement at this stage. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVsprings and Chaulin are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for hiring outcomes or decisions made using the service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the period preceding the claim. LEGAL REVIEW — the precise cap, exclusions, and any consumer-law carve-outs must be set by counsel for the governing jurisdiction.

Either party may end this agreement at any time: you by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use, we by notice (for example, for breach of these terms or non-payment). On termination you can export your organization's data as JSON (Settings → Organization Data → Export all data) before it is deleted, and your audit data is removed in line with your retention settings or on request. We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and notify account owners by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
